Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who came out in support of The Love of Beer.  It was a huge crowd,  filling the downstairs of the Bagdad and spilling up into the balcony.  I can not have been prouder to be part of this community.  All the proceeds of the night are going towards DVD screeners and film festival submissions.

But don’t take our word for it:

“I watched the documentary with a lump in my throat and tear in my eye. Thank you for creating this documentary. It was moving in many ways and thank you for addressing the taboo subject of childbearing as a professional woman. Cheers to amazing women!” -Julia Ratcliff
“You captured the extraordinary personalities & talent of the women you highlighted in your film…One more thing, on the way home I stopped @ the store and bought a craft beer from one of the brewers I saw on screen.”– Annette Hadaway
“A sensitive yet honest appraisal of women’s strength and joy. Cheers to you and all involved” -The Beer Babe
“I was looking forward to it for weeks….and was both thoroughly entertained and educated!”  – Mark Carver
” What a great portrayal of passion in brewing, and the women who help spearhead the craft beer movement. Simply awesome.” – The Beer Goddess

❤! We’ll have more to announce in the next few days.  Stay tuned!

Any chance of arranging a screening in Bend, OR? We’re anxious to see this and have many beer loving women who would love to attend.

We’re currently scheming on a Bend screening and we should have something concrete soon. Do you have any recommendations for local (preferably beer friendly) theaters?

Great! SO glad to hear about a possible Bend screening. I would recommend contacting McMenamin’s St. Francis as they have a great theater and serve beer and food in the theater area. Tower theater is also a great venue and seats about 450. They serve beer in the lobby but don’t usually allow it in the theater area but people buy and drink before a film and during any intermissions. Let me know if I can help further.
